South Africa: Mandela, Safari & the Majestic Cape
Every country in the world displays some diversity, but South Africa, the Rainbow nation, stretching from the hippos in the Limpopo River to the penguins waddling on the Cape, takes some beating. It befits its position at the southern end of the world’s most epic continent, with more types of terrain than photographers can shake their zoom lens at from Kruger National Park to Cape Peninsula.
Travel between the legacy of Apartheid and Johannesburg today, visiting the famous apartheid museums, the Soweto townships, the infamous Robben Island prison, and learn much from the struggles and contributions of the two Nobel prize winners, Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu. We will also visit, learn and understand the various Muslim communities from their first settlement 200 years ago, during the apartheid period and challenges today!
